I think you’ll love this manhwa if you annoyed of those imbalanced reborn mages of all magical elements or heroes with level 100500 who came from the future like a gods.

Description: You see there is magic tag but this is not about it. It’s just fantasy with no magicians. We have here, in fact, the world of the sword and martial arts. The main character, one might say, is an ordinary warrior, without outstanding talents, but he is quite hardworking man. During the war, he was lucky to live up to 40 years and rise to the rank of commander. It so happened that he fought for those who lost, and, as a result, he was killed. But the main character does not die, but returns to the past when he was 16. At that time he could not enter the martial arts school. His was weak – the body was mediocre, his meridians (or whatever) were thin, but, obviously, now he has enough experience from a past life to overcome that and become stronger. In addition to all this, he’s got some kind of mysterious system (game interface).

System: I’ll note about it right away, because (for me personally) at first system was like a thorn in the eye – hell knows where she came from into an ordinary medieval warrior, but then you get used to it, since the author organically fits it into this world. Yes, system sometimes gives out quests, but basically everything is reasonable – it might be like go and swing a thousand times in a row with a sword and you’ll get the skill of a sharp swing (I’ve just made it up for an example), if you pause doing it, then you will get some penalty, like you won’t be able to use your hand 1 day (cuz sprained). As far as I understand, there is system only to show us the progress of the main character (characteristics, skills, etc.).

Pros:
• I like the atmosphere and art. I’ve read up to the last chapter at the moment, and there are no empty frames in the memoirs. Everything seems to be happening with some background. And the combat is well done. Everything looks very organic. Well, for my taste.
• The main character is quite adequate. It’s very funny when a flawed dumb idiots try to provoke him, but mc is like “why are you doing such stupid things? Are you an idiot?”
+ From weak to strong. MC is not imbalanced. I saw someone wrote it. Please don’t mislead people. The fact that he got rid of some f***ing assholes (not pro warriors) does not make him imbalanced.
• Everything develops gradually. The author does not force MC to fight the villans x10 times stronger, and then take some unknown earlier legendary sword out of his ass to win. Everything is within the expected range.
• The rest of the characters are alive. They have their own flaws, wishes ect. ♥_♥
• Even humor steadily slips. I was especially pleased when could laugh even after 50 chapters.
• Saw more questions about romance. O_O There is no romance. The question itself is posed incorrectly. After all, this does not mean that the hero is stupidly obsessed with battles and there will be no hints of a relationship. Everything is adequate… Well, for example, have you read/watched Harry Potter? But why just HP? Yes, in general, any movie without romance, where we observe throughout the film that the characters are either attracted to each other, or we see that everything is heading towards this, but the movie is not about that. We are here to read about saving the world, for example. Mb, at the end of some final battle, MC and his girlfriend will be together, mb earlier. Who knows.

Cons:
• Explanation of the system. What? Why? Even MC is like: “Wtf? Ok, let’s work with it.” Lss, you have just to ignore it and get used to it. That’s best.
• The moment when MC accidentally stumbled over the old man, who then plays a major role in the plot. But it was for one time. So I’m ok with it.
• The “oh, I forgot I got that skill before” moment. But the skill was not overpoereed, not for solving anything critical at that time. Mb author just didn’t know how to present it. So I’m ok with it too.

Btw:
• Villains. We don’t have here some clear and unambiguous villain. Theme will be about something like “saving the world and kill demonic king”, but that in the long future. For now we understand that there will be quite a lot of enemies. There were defetead villains but they promise to return. So I’m waiting for it now. ))) Ok. The end.
