Dungeon Reset

I don’t get it, why does this Griffin attack the Temple? It has literally no reason to do that. It does not give it anything for doing that, it also does nothing against it by being there. It makes simply no sense, and is just a damn Twist for the Story. From a Story view it makes sense to bring some tension, but from a Logical point it makes no sense. Also, these are Stone walls, you can’t just fly into them and they fall apart. Even as a Mythical Creature, A griffin is not unnaturally powerful. It can rip and tear stuff really well, but smashing up Stone walls is not a thing it can just do. Especially stone walls like these who are build very well.
